New Video Training for Using VR/360 for LEO Training
A new training video has been created by FDLE instructor Tim Trott, in conjunction with Tom Gleason, certification instructor for Pat Thomas Police Academy in Tallahassee. This training course was created in an instructor training class, exploring the potential applications for Virtual Reality and 360 photography in police and public service training.
This new photography resource has a potential to greatly enhance officer first responder training. It’s one thing to read about an ambush scenario or a crime scene investigation, but 360/VR has the potential to allow the individual student to directly “experience” the training scenario.
The video has been provided free of charge, courtesy of our video production division, Tim Trott Productions (TimTrottProductions) and our hosting partner, Cyberchute (Cyberchute.com).
