Remote ID helps the FAA, law enforcement, and federal agencies find the control station when a drone appears to be flying in an unsafe manner or where it is not allowed to be operating. Remote ID also lays the foundation of safety and security for more complex drone operations, including Operations Over People.
This course will help to provide the UAS operator with a better understanding of the purpose, requirements and applications of the Remote Identification Requirement.
There may be some changes as this new rule faces court challenges, and as any changes are made, we will mention them in the Professor’s Blog and update this course where indicated.
A certificate is provided upon completion of the course, which can be printed in your Profile section.
