Knowledge test provider PSI temporarily closes centers

PSI, the FAA knowledge testing provider, is temporarily closing testing centers that it owns and operates in the US and the UK. The closures come in response to the global coronavirus pandemic.

This closure only applies to PSI-owned and operated locations. Some PSI locations are operated by third parties. Check with your local testing center for its status. A list of all closed locations can be accessed at www.psionline.com/closures.

According to PSI, you can reschedule up to and including the day of testing at no penalty with no documentation required. NOTE: In most cases, candidates can reschedule their examinations online through PSI, and they are encouraged to do so. If you choose to reschedule through PSI’s Candidate Call Center, call (844) 704-1487, expect to have longer than usual wait times.

PSI Call Centers are open:

Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM EDT

Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EDT

Course Extensions

If your course access is about to expire, don’t worry. Courses expiring between March 15 and April 30, 2020 will be automatically extended through May 31, 2020. You don’t need to do anything to receive the extension. If you’re an international student that might need more time to schedule, please contact us and we’ll work with you.
